1. Selling Food through Vending Machines: License Requirements


Offering pre-packaged snacks or cookies? No license is required. But if clients plan to sell freshly made food like rice balls or sandwiches, they will need to apply for a license from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD).



2. Selling Non-Bottled Drinks: License Requirements


Selling bottled or canned drinks or sterilized milk? No license is required. However, If clients want to sell non-bottled drinks like coffee, freshly squeezed tea, or freshly squeezed orange juice, they need to apply for a license from the FEHD.


3. Selling Fresh Food: License Requirements and Conditions


If clients are interested in selling freshly made meals like bento boxes or pre-packaged meals through vending machines, it's important to know that they will need to meet specific license requirements and conditions. To prevent spoilage, the food must be packaged and kept at a temperature of at least 60°C. In addition, they will need to apply for a vending machine food license from the FEHD, which requires a written application form and certain conditions for obtaining and maintaining the license.
